Robert Half Tech Customer Support - Contact Center Agent in Burlington, Vermont

Description

We are offering a role in the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry, specifically in So. Burlington, Vermont. The role is a Customer Service Representative, focusing on providing exceptional customer service within a contact center environment. This role involves handling a variety of post-sale technical inquiries, including parts lookup and basic troubleshooting for customers. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to customers, focusing on post-sale technical issues.

  • Conduct parts lookup and basic troubleshooting for customers.

  • Utilize SAP software for order processing and troubleshooting needs.

  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in the technical aspects of 3 to 4 products.

  • Liaise with remote support to resolve customer issues as needed.

  • Use your skills in Customer Service, Call Center Customer Service, Call Center, and Remote Support to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Assist in the ordering of parts and troubleshooting of technical issues with customers.

  • Utilize computer and software technology savviness to look up orders and troubleshoot issues.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all customer needs are met promptly and accurately.

  • Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.

Schedule:

  • Training: M-F 8:30-5 for 3 weeks and then the schedule would be 40 hours/week between M-Sat 8:30-5 (Work every other Saturday)

  • After working in the office for 60 days, a hybrid schedule is available (based on performance/attendance)

Pay: $17.50/hr (plus spiffs and bonuses which are on average an additional extra $1 - $2 per hour)

Requirements

• Proficiency in managing Call Center operations and providing high-quality Customer Service

• Demonstrated ability to provide Remote Support to clients

• Excellent Customer Support skills, with a commitment to maintaining high customer satisfaction levels

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members

• Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues professionally and calmly

• Proficiency in using computer systems, software, and managing databases

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes

• Willingness to work in shifts, over weekends, or on holidays, if required

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree from a recognized institution is a plus.
