Aon is looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant – Captive Insurance and Management (Burlington, Vermont)

As part of an industry-leading team, we are looking to add an experienced, customer service focused Front Desk Manager / Senior Administrator to join our expanding Captives Accounting Team based in our office in Burlington, Vermont.

This opportunity is 100% office based.

What the day will look like

  • Provide the full suite of general administration and front desk duties such as, but not limited to, meeting and greeting, managing incoming and outgoing delivery services, maintaining database information, scanning and filing, reconciling reports.

  • Use knowledge of the department's procedures, prepare routine correspondence, documentation, forms, notices, or statistical reports.

  • Be responsible for scheduling meetings and appointments for staff, including coordinating and confirming attendance, arrangement of meeting location, catering services, equipment, and supplies, updating Welcome Board and greeting guests.

  • Maintain electronic manuals, policy, and procedure files, etc. and assist in research, testing, and/or implementation of revised policies and procedures.

  • Assist with preparation of board meeting documentation.

  • Oversee incoming checks/deposits and log outgoing client checks.

  • Maintain cleanliness of board rooms in advance of and in between meetings and serve as main point of contact for property owner and Aon internal real estate contacts.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Prior experience as a Corporate Receptionist / Front office or Senior Administrator with a proven track record in a customer/client facing roles is essential.

  • Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as Adobe)

  • Ability to learn new and navigate new software applications efficiently

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $40,000 - $55,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary range reflected is based on work being in Burlington, VT.
