Robert Half Lockbox Remittance Processor in Burlington, Vermont

Description We are seeking a Lockbox Remittance Processor to become an integral part of our team in Burlington, Vermont. This role is within the industry and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Lockbox Remittance Processor, you will handle and deposit remittances, manage documents received by mail, and ensure the efficient operation of our lockbox services.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and deposit remittances received by mail, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Manage and maintain files of received documents, implementing an organized filing system for ease of access.

• Utilize your skills in deposits, staffing, processing, remittance, and lockbox operations to perform tasks effectively.

• Operate photocopying/scanning equipment to replicate documents as needed.

• Collaborate with the team to resolve any issues related to the lockbox services.

• Ensure the secure handling of all sensitive and confidential information.

• Monitor the status of customer accounts, taking appropriate action as necessary.

• Respond to customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service at all times.

• Utilize proprietary software systems to process customer credit applications.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating information as changes occur. Requirements • Proficiency in handling deposits and processing remittances.

• Familiarity with Lock Box operations and related procedures.

• Experience in a staffing role, preferably within a financial institution.

• Ability to manage and operate processor systems effectively and efficiently.

• Skilled in photocopying and scanning documents, with a focus on accuracy and detail.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• High level of organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to compliance standards.

• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in finance or related field preferred.
