Posting Summary
The primary goal of this role is to develop and sustain relationships between UVM’s first and second year BIPOC students and the Mosaic Center for Students of Color ( MCSC ), particularly those students who have not joined affinity (student) groups. This entails a broad array of work—from programming (both collaborative and independently imagined and executed), to tailored outreach, to coordinating campus partners drop-ins, to coordinating the Summer Enhancement Scholars Program, to being present in resource fairs, admitted student days, and so on. This position reports to the Director of the MCSC .
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
· Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of one to three years of relevant experience.
· Demonstrated awareness of the specific needs of students of color and experience working with said population.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
· Ability to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
· Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications
Anticipated Pay Range $23.85/hr to $26.15/hr
