Job Overview:

The Returns Team Lead 1 supports the Supervisor in the Reverse Logistics Department, ensuring their designated area operates smoothly and efficiently. This role serves as a crucial intermediary between the supervisor and the team, facilitating optimal productivity thought the day.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Ensure efficient returns processing, product evaluation, storing and customer service.

  • Conduct internal audits and maintain an active presence on the floor.

  • Enforce safety standards.

  • Assist with training new staff and provide ongoing mentorship.

  • Liaise with other departments for smooth operations.

  • Partner with Department supervisor to drive improvement initiatives.

    Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.

  • Basic understanding of maintenance procedures and operations.

  • Organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Physical capability for lifting and moving heavy items.

  • Basic computer skills and inventory software skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow.

    Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:

  • Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a warehouse environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training is a plus.

    Physical Environment/Occupational Risks:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs independently

  • Extended periods of standing/walking

    Required Schedule:

    Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday 9am-2:30pm
