ARAMARK Supply Chain Specialist - KDP - Remote in Burlington, Massachusetts

Job Description

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for leading, planning, administering, and directing all activities related to Vendor Sourcing, Onboarding, Management and Accountability in compliance with the standards established by Aramark and the client. This key role establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the client, internal customers and vendors providing support across the line of business as needed.

The Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with the central Global Supply Chain (GSC) team in execution of vendor management from start to finish. Will also focus on meeting and exceeding operating goals, client objectives and customer needs, and delivering the services Aramark is contracted to provide.

Work is generally conducted remotely with little to no direct supervision, but the position will require up to 10% - 15% travel.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages a vendor network to fulfill the work requests of the client at multiple locations across the Continental United States

  • Ensures compliance with all contract obligations regarding timeliness of service and client satisfaction, and conduct operational audits to ensure a high level of execution and compliance by vendors, using a dashboard to measure KPIs

  • Establishes and maintains effective communications and collaborative business relationships with client, vendors, facilities management team and National Service Center

  • Uses EcoBPM CMMS system to properly support the operation and trains others in its use

  • Analyzes and acts on business metrics

  • Supports compliance with Aramark Facilities Services and regulatory agency standards and programs and translating corporate strategy into front- line operational tactics and will ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and other, local, state, and federal government regulations

  • Process-focused and decisive to ensure effective execution of all department strategies / initiatives to help meet company and client needs with a high standard of excellence, urgency and predictability

Long Description

  • Maintain relationships with existing vendors and identify new vendors as needed to support our service operations.

  • Continually audit the system and network relative to vendors, adjust as necessary

  • Provide data analysis support & report generation across various platforms specific to fixed and variable labor, fixed and variable service agreements, and assets.

  • Maintain vendor dashboards/portals (as needed) and have the ability to extract data from vendor dashboards/portals to ensure program compliance.

  • Backup account team on processing vendor updates in the Technology.

  • Develops and maintains expert business knowledge of the applications, processes, and data management requirements supporting Field Operations and Sales Operations Activities.

  • Demonstrate a strong aptitude for analytical & problem-solving skills along with an attention to detail

  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and utilize multiple internal platforms for data mining

  • Ability to work and communicate within a matrix organization including field operations, regional staff & LOB support functions

  • Possess strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in business, supply chain, Facilites management or related field is preferred

  • Strong end-to-end business process, analytical, problem solving and diagnostic skill

  • Experience utilizing complex Excel formulas and functions to build and update reports

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, work in a dynamic fluid environment and effectively cope with change

  • Ability to manage the system, analyze the data and propose technology solutions.

  • Ability to work on multiple assignments in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining work quality with various locations and team members.

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and logical manner.

Long Description

  • Proficient in the use and functionality of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and Power BI is required.

  • High degree of integrity and business maturity

  • Previous P&L experience is preferred

  • Team Player: The ability to work effectively independently and as part of a collaborative team. Demonstrate proven success in interfacing with a variety of organizational functions and considerable negotiation skills are also needed to drive results

  • Strong Communication: Proven interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated time management skills resulting in prioritizing time and resources accordingly

  • Ideal candidates will possess a high energy level that is communicated to the team they will help lead as well as the client

  • The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is a key success measure

  • Candidates must possess a demonstrated attention to detail and ability to lead directly and through influence

  • Candidate will be a self-motivated individual that can function with minimal supervision in a remote, work from home scenario.
