We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to define and drive rhythm of business activities across our newly formed HLS Core AI Platform team, working with team leaders and with leads across HLS to ensure clarity and efficient execution of priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Business Planning & RoB: Support LT, Product Management, Engineering and Operations team to influence, manage and execute Rhythm of Business (ROB) and planning process. Drive thoughtful execution through coordination and engagement with teams inclusive of activities like semester planning, Monthly Business Review (MBR) management, and execution of org level objectives and key results (OKR’s),

  • Business Rhythm: Lead and coordinate business RoB, includes ownership of All Hands, weekly Staff meetings, LT rhythm, manager meetings, etc.

  • Collaborations, Alignment, Negotiations: Work closely with HLS internal teams, Partner teams, stakeholders, and other cross Azure Business Management Community.

  • Business Value Delivery: Maintain long-term roadmaps, guide teams through development of frameworks, conduct retrospectives and problem-solving sessions via established practices and approaches, manage dependencies and mitigate risks.

  • Drive simplification and automation to evolve processes, services, and solutions that increase agility, efficiencies and lower costs.

  • Facilitate Data driven decision making: Ensure appropriate data and insights are surfaced at the right altitude and in a timely manner to enable leadership and stakeholders to make data driven decisions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • Experience with Agile and SAFE program management frameworks.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
