Software Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Research, design, develop, build and test system service and application level software for both at-scale and experimental mobile/wearable platforms.

2. Build new features and improve existing products.

3. Work on problems of moderate scope.

4. Push code, drive the development of the systems behind our products that reach billions of people, and be a part of a team to connect people around the globe.

5. Working closely with hardware/firmware/system teams to develop foundational frameworks and services for future wearable devices.

6. Develop a strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, and/or systems.

7. Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming and software engineering.

8. Produce high quality code with good test coverage, using modern abstractions and frameworks.

9. Receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects or assignments, work independently, use available resources to get unblocked, and complete tasks on-schedule by exercising strong judgment and problem solving skills.

10. Master internal development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.

$228,211/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
