Robert Half Contracts Administrator in Burlingame, California

Description

Perform and manage all aspects of project document administration including budgets, documentation control, all contract related changes, and all project accounting functions including processing project related AP & billing so that all project information is accurate and current to provide reliable data for project teams and company management assessment . This is a key role liaising information between Estimating, Production, and Finance.

Responsibilities:

• New project setup & existing project maintenance in software system

• Close out projects as needed

• All contract administration and documentation management including customer contract, contract change orders, subcontracts, subcontract changes, purchase orders, vendor insurance and compliance

• All project accounting related activities such as budget management, project accounting monitoring in system, project expenses, vendor invoices/payments, client billings, & project accounting reconciliations

• Document/update procedures for the position including flowcharts, written documentation, & templates

• Project meeting organization, scheduling, & preparation

• Coordinate and facilitate project information as necessary to support staff

Assists Project Team & Production as needed

• Assists Office Admin with various office tasks as needed

• Assists Controller with general accounting and administration duties when necessary

Requirements

• College Degree or higher preferred

• Three to five (3-5) years of experience as a Project Accountant/Contracts Administrator or similar position/experience

• Some construction industry knowledge preferred

• Intermediate software skills as well as Internet research abilities

• Experience with accounting systems such as Corecon, Timberline, Viewpoint, and Quickbooks

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices preferred

• Strong reading comprehensive & analytical skills

• Strong communications skills – both written and verbal

• Strong interpersonal skills
