Summary

The TimberSteel Customer Care Rep will provide the highest level of Customer service to GAF customers concerning all aspects of the order process including order placement, order management, customer knowledge, and plant follow-up. This role will maintain solid interdepartmental and customer relationships by addressing questions and concerns with speed and professionalism. This role will act as the “Voice of the Consumer” to equally improve the products for our customers as we support the TimberSteel Product line. This role is a hybrid role, Mon & Fri work from home, Tues-Thurs on location in the Burgaw, NC plant.

Essential Duties

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide the highest level of customer service to our customers in a call center environment.

  • Provide “White Glove Service” by delivering an effortless customer experience

  • ReviewallordersandqualifywiththetechnicalTeamRep

  • Providing customer service to external GAF customers concerning all aspects of the order process including order placement, customer and plant follow-up, and product inquiries.

  • Manage a CRM-style customer service portal utilizing Salesforce

  • Manage the TimberSteel ordering portal

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls promptly

  • Build relationships with external & internal GAF customers via phone and email to assist with all inquiries.

  • Work as “sales support” for our Sales Team.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Under This Roof, We Require

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • 3+ years experience in a relationship-oriented customer service position

  • Excellent communication and computer skills are also required
