The Corporate Communications team oversees the development and management of The Walt Disney Company’s reputation through external and internal communications strategies that support the company’s strategic priorities and vision. We are looking for a Digital Analyst to provide real-time media monitoring and data across traditional and digital media platforms.

What You Will Do

• Work with the Manager, Digital Analytics to monitor social conversation and editorial stories about The Walt Disney Company.

• Use multiple internal and third-party tools to pull data for assigned daily and ad-hoc reports, as well as to anticipate trending topics.

• Craft detailed reports clearly outlining analysis that measures and interprets consumer and editorial response to emerging corporate and public affairs matters.

• Combine quantitative and qualitative methodologies to tell a cohesive story and provide actionable insights to corporate leadership and relevant stakeholders.

• Visualize data in a way that is easy to understand.

• Setup social listening tools including keywords, query parameters, and dashboards.

• Maintain industry best-practices, staying up to date on and ahead of industry trends, news and tools.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• A minimum of 2 or more years of experience in analytics or research/insights position required.

• Background in data analytics and familiarity with statistical methodologies and editorial/news monitoring.

• Familiarity with social listening and media monitoring tools.

• Adept with social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

• Highly motivated and able to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• A creative problem solver: comfort with ambiguity and an ability to apply order to chaotic data sets.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint (and/or its Mac equivalent, Keynote).

Preferred Qualifications

• A passion for media and entertainment. Industry experience desirable

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $78,200 to $104,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
