Description We are offering an engaging opportunity in the field of accounting, specifically for a Sr. Accountant. The role is based in BUFFALO, New York, 14210-1484, United States. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks related to accounting, including preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing expenses on a monthly basis

• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations every month

• Creating schedules for annual audits and responding to related queries

• Assisting in monthly close procedures to ensure an efficient process

• Providing financial analysis as needed

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks

• Reconciling accounts and maintaining the general ledger

• Processing journal entries as part of the month-end close process. Requirements • Applicant must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role is required.

• Must demonstrate proficiency in account reconciliation.

• Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation is essential.

• Experience with bank reconciliations is a must.

• Proficiency in using the general ledger is necessary.

• Ability to record and manage journal entries is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Experience with month-end close procedures is required.
