Buffalo. Prince Rubber & Plastics. Purchasing Manager. $25 - $30/hour.

To competently organize and execute the Companys purchasing function. Company is an established manufacturer and fabricator of a variety of rubber & plastics products.

The purchasing manager will: * Work with senior management to develop purchasing strategies and parameters, and then implement them * Seek reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices * Negotiate prices and contracts * Review technical specifications for raw materials and components * Determine quantity and timing of deliveries * Help manage inventories * Supervise others in this group * Candidates should have formal education or other relevant credentials in this area, and at least 3 years experience is a senior purchasing role. Candidates should also be familiar with computers, and computer Software such as Microsoft, Excel, Word, and Outlook, and business operating software, which the Company (and Purchasing) utilizes.

Compensation includes hourly rate, profit-sharing plan, 401K, ESOP (Retirement Plan), medical benefit plan, Paid Time Off, Paid Holiday Days.
