Job Description:

GVI Maintains and operates the cardiopulmonary bypass machine and related ancillary equipment employed in cardiac surgical procedures. Administers appropriate medications and IV’s via the cardiopulmonary bypass machine.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

GVI BS - Bachelor of Science in Cardiovascular perfusion technology required. Perfusionist permit issued by the NYS Office of Professionals may be used in lieu of license upon hire. NYS license to be obtained within 1 year of hire. Existing staff must possess ABCP Credentials and/or participate in ongoing ABCP recertification. Existing staff not eligible for ABCP certification are expected to participate in the recertification program with the department manager. American Board Cardio Perfus upon hire required.

Salary Range:

$69.25-$85.82 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
