Job Description:

FNP/ANP - NSICU Practice of registered professional nursing by a nurse practitioner may include the diagnosis of illness and physical conditions and the performance of therapeutic and corrective measures within a specialty of practice, in collaboration with a licensed physician qualified to collaborate in the specialty involved, provided such services are performed in accordance with a written practice agreement and written practice protocols.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

FNP/ANP - NSICU Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse, Nurse Practitioner and American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. Two (2) years of clinical experience in specialty area of practice (neurology/neurosurgery and critical care) as RN or NP preferred. ANCC or national certification in area of specialty (Family/Adult) required within six (6) months of hire/transfer into position. Agreement from appropriate physician to enter into a collaborative agreement.

Salary Range:

$58.95-$74.13 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
