Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for a skilled Mechanic B to join our team on 1st shift 7:00A-3:30P Monday - Friday!

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing moderately skilled mechanical support to manufacturing including PM’s, tooling, machine repair, and machining.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide maintenance support to manufacturing in the troubleshooting and repair of all manufacturing equipment on a scheduled and as-needed basis.

• Complete PM tasks (filter, inspection, oil, etc.).

• Set up and operate machine shop equipment (saws, drills, etc.)

• Operate and repair industrial trucks.

• Make recommendations for continuous improvement and error proofing initiatives.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment issues (registration, timing on printing and finishing processes).

• Support and assist Facilities and Electrical maintenance staff as needed.

• Operate fork trucks/man-lifts as needed.

• Use a variety of tools to perform maintenance duties including hand and power tools.

• 1Read and interpret equipment manuals, OEM prints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

• Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Maintenance Supervision and Management to review and detect manufacturing process issues and make suggestions for improvement.

• Communicate with machine operators as needed to perform efficient and effective troubleshooting and equipment repair.

• Comply with all industry standards and regulations (ISO, FDA, etc.).

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• GED or High School Diploma.

• 2 years mechanic experience within a manufacturing setting.

• Must take Technical/Mechanical training courses/certificates.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work in a constructive, positive manner with others in a team environment

• Basic reading, math, and direction following skills.

• Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute production orders and operating procedures

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment

• Ability to problem solve

• Mechanical aptitude with a strong desire to learn and advance to higher level maintenance positions

• Knowledge of manufacturing standards, regulations, and procedures

• Through knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes specific to Nissha Medical Technologies

• General Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic Troubleshooting Skills

• Ability to operate fork truck and man-lift equipment

• Machining skills

• Pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge

• Ability to follow directions

• Knowledge of CMMS

• Knowledge of PM programs

• Knowledge of continuous improvement initiatives

• Basic continuous improvement knowledge

Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.50/hour

Pay is dependent on multiple factors, including job related knowledge, skills and experience.
