Delaware North Insurance and Risk Analyst II in Buffalo, New York
The Opportunity
Delaware North is hiring an Insurance and Risk Analyst at our corporate headquarters in Buffalo, New York. As Insurance and Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing Delaware North’s comprehensive insurance programs and assisting in identifying suitable insurance coverages and the corresponding costs of new business opportunities.
This role will be hybrid out of our Buffalo, NY headquarters.
Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $66500 - $89900 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities
Assess and recommend appropriate third-party contractual insurance requirements, terms and conditions; identify all applicable estimated insurance costs associated with new business opportunities
Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services
Allocate and inform units of their respective insurance costs; identify and communicate following year’s prospective insurance accrual costs
Process payment of insurance premium invoices and first-party property damage claims
Process insurance premium audits by collecting and reporting auditable exposures to insurance carriers
Maintain the surety bond program
Process the Renewals of Property, Casualty, Executive Risks, and Specialty Lines of Insurance Coverages; process auto ID cards and certificates of insurance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
2-5 years of experience as an Analyst in Insurance, Risk Management or related field; experience in Global Business Services or Accounting preferred
Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Travel: 10%
