Ansible Government Solutions Hematology/Oncology Physician in Buffalo, New York

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Hematology/Oncology Physicians to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the VA Western New York Healthcare System located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215. Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation and treatment to patients in the outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic; as well as provide feedback and consultation with the other services within the Buffalo VA.

  • The Physician will evaluate, triage, and prioritize requests from Primary Care providers and others for outpatient Hematology/Oncology subspecialty consultations.

  • They will obtain medical histories, conduct physical examinations, order and evaluate appropriate laboratory testing, and plan and prescribe treatment for patients.

  • The Hematologist/Oncologist will coordinate medical management and care with Primary Care providers and other medical personnel in multidisciplinary health care delivery system.

  • Provide Hematology/Oncology on-call services as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Osteopathic Medicine

  • Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia

  • NPI report printout

  • Active DEA license

  • Must be able to pass a federal background investigation

All candidates must be able to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

  • Lift up to 20 lbs

  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
