Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a reliable Senior Finance Manager to join our growing banking client in the Buffalo, NY area on a contract to hire basis. Leveraging your significant experience in finance, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, you will assist the bank in streamlining financial processes and systems, and ensuring accurate and timely financial results. This role enjoys a hybrid work schedule, required to be in-office 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analyses and financial reporting.

• Oversee expense management to ensure efficient utilization of resources.

• Drive strategic financial planning and decision-making using business insights and analytics.

• Critically analyze and present financial data to exploit strategic initiatives.

• Lead change management initiatives related to financial processes and systems.

• Establish, implement and monitor financial policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with management on financial planning and decision-making.

• Partner with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders as necessary.

• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Required)

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management role

• Extensive knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, and corporate finance

• Proven experience in banking is preferred

• Proficient in Excel, Tableau or similar programs

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Proven decision-making and leadership skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
