POSITION VISIONThe primary responsibility of the Creative Designer is the creation of signage, from design through the printing process and operating large and small format printers. Must manage multiple banner requests by producing quality banners in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES1. Design & produce quality point of sale, often following supplier guidelines, meeting deadlines2. Ensure all signage is developed in accordance with NYSLA guidelines and laws3. Distribute signage to sales team.4. Offsite work- occasional measure for signage, larger installation pieces5. Maintain excellent working relationships with sales team, brand team and suppliers6. Effectively manage time with projects, with possible time in trade to assess signage needs7. Execute special projects as delegated by the Marketing Content Manager8. Collaboration with WBD sales and marketing teams on design for programs and promotions9. Maintain professional appearance; internal and external facing position10. Execute personal development initiatives as set forth by the Marketing Content Manager

MINIMUM/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Education:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma

  • Preferred: College Degree

  • Skills:

  • Minimum: Strong computer background especially Adobe Creative programs and Microsoft Office. Excellent time management and communication skills.

  • Preferred: Superior communication skills/customer service; problem solving/critical thinking; strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize/re-prioritize work load (time management) & superior organizational skills

  • Experience:

  • Minimum: Familiar with vector and raster design software. Customer service, problem solving. Attention to details and complex organizational skills. Has a portfolio of design samples upon application.

  • Preferred: Extensive experience in Adobe or Corel design software and has a portfolio of professional , personal, or student work.

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit for long periods of time. Must be able to lift minimum of sixty (60) pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONSNormal office environment along with the ability to travel to other WBD locations and accounts
