Position Summary:

The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (https://dental.buffalo.edu/departments/oral-maxillofacial-surgery.html) . Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Major responsibilities include:

  • patient care

  • resident teaching

  • research

This position is clinical and academic. The candidate should have an interest in building and fostering a practice, and conducting research in Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery.

  • Candidates must have a DDS or DMD degree and have completed a CODA -accredited residency program and be eligible for licensure in New York.

  • Candidates must be ABOMS -eligible or qualified.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical degree
