Lindsey McCarthy with Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous and dedicated Certified Occupancy Specialist located in Buffalo, New York. This role will revolve around the utilization of RealPage software and will have a strong focus on property management. The selected candidate will also be responsible for managing HUD Section 8 paperwork and direct communication with tenants.

Responsibilities:

• Use RealPage software for various administrative tasks, certification will be required

• Act as a property manager, coordinating with contractors for maintenance and other related tasks

• Handle monthly HUD Section 8 paperwork for multiple tenant locations

• Regularly communicate with tenants to gather information on income, expenses, etc. for necessary paperwork

• Submit monthly vouchers to HUD and work towards resolving any arising issues

• Use your skills in Data Entry and Microsoft Excel for efficient record keeping and reporting

• Handle paperwork intensively, ensuring all documents are accurate, updated, and properly filed.

Note: This role will require on-site presence a few days a week.

Requirements

• Possess strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.

• Familiarity with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) processes and regulations.

• Demonstrated ability to handle high volume of financial transactions.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
