Cannon Design Business Development Administrative Assistant in Buffalo, New York

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will provide administrative support to office leadership and our business development/marketing teams to enhance the quality of our work.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Provide support to Office Practice Leader, Business Development Leader, Market and Client Leaders to prepare and track the annual schedule for all conferences for our Buffalo/Pittsburgh office.
  • Assist with marketing and communications in partnership with Brand Marketing and Business Development team, ensuring all brand and messaging aligns with the firm.
  • Coordinate the planning, execution, and follow-up of each individual conference.
  • Coordinate conference collateral including booth materials, giveaways, and advertising materials.
  • Provide support with the communications plan in alignment with the office business plans, including but not limited to: social media, email marketing campaigns and traditional media outlets, with oversight from BMBD to ensure alignment with firm expectations and messaging.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of office events, including hospitality services.
  • Partner with design team on award submissions.
  • Work with market leaders to track anticipated RFP/Qs posted on procurement sites.
  • Maintain and update CRM system in partnership with leadership, including Salesforce, Deltek and OpenAsset.
  • Support business development and community engagement efforts including form submissions, in accordance with internal processes.
  • Support marketing and business development printing request, including conference materials, RFP's, and banners.
  • May support office and market leadership with travel arrangements.
  • May handle other responsibilities as needed.
ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma and a minimum of four years of related experience required.
  • Associates degree is a plus. Experience working in a professional services firm preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy with work is a must.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative and deadline driven environment.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to dive into projects and tasks.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint required.
  • Previous experience with CRM systems, including Salesforce, Deltek and OpenAsset strongly desirable.
The salary range for this position to be filled in the Buffalo office is $23.75 to $29.69 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances.
