M/E Engineering Administrative Assistant in Buffalo, New York
M/E Engineering is currently interviewing for an Administrative Assistant in our Buffalo, NY office to support our growing team. We are a full-service MEP engineering firm providing design and technology services to our clients. Our team of nearly 200 engineers and design professionals work to create built environments that support a sustainable future for the communities we live in, work in, and care deeply about. Responsibilities
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Adobe, experience in Excel.
Ability to navigate multiple internet sites and download and upload data multiple times per day.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work with minimal supervision independently, as well as part of a team.
Tracks incoming and outgoing documents.
Works directly with contractors and architects on project design submissions through construction administration.
Collaborates closely with internal engineers from production to construction.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Possesses excellent interpersonal relations skills.
Answers and directs calls as needed.
Greets visitors, orders lunches, and sets up meeting rooms as requested.
Maintains high standards of performance and flexibility in work assignments.
Works well on a cross functional team, assisting with heavy workloads.
Formats documents to M/E standards.
Performs other related clerical or office duties as assigned.
This is an in-office position.
Education and Experience
High School graduate.
Associate degree or some college experience preferred.
Compensation Range
The compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
