Position Summary:

The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), State University of New York, the Department of Medicine, Division of Pediatrics-, is seeking qualified Pediatrics Hospitalists with exceptional clinical and academic skills.

Qualified candidates will be appointed at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor level.

Overall duties include but not limited to:

•Hospitalists admit and round on all patients assigned to the IM or Pediatric Hospitalist Service

•An option to serve as attending physician for ambulatory care with/or without inpatient services

•Consultation and patient follow-up

•The successful candidate will be expected to take advantage of the many opportunities for teaching medical students and supervising and training internal medicine residents, based on experience

•During an average shift, Physicians will round 14-16 patients

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD, DO, or Equivalent degree

• BC/BE Internal Medicine

• BC/BE Pediatrics

• Eligible for NYS License

• Current and Unrestricted DEA certificate required
