Position Summary:

The Division of Allergy/Immunology & Rheumatology (https://medicine.buffalo.edu/departments/medicine/divisions/allergy.html) in the Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB) Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and Oishei Children’s Hospital ( OCH ) is recruiting for a full-time clinical faculty physician in Pediatric Rheumatology.

Clinical duties will include outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations for children admitted to Oishei Children’s Hospital. Teaching opportunities include working with medical students, pediatric residents, and allergy/immunology fellows in ambulatory, inpatient and didactic settings.

The successful candidate will join a team including our current Pediatric Rheumatologist and rheumatology nurse practitioner, along with three Allergist/Immunologists and an allergy physician’s assistant in the Division of Allergy/Immunology & Rheumatology. The rheumatology service provides care for a diverse patient population with juvenile idiopathic arthritis, lupus and scleroderma, with about 1400 visits in 2022 and more than 500 patients in infusion suite. Our providers also support the pediatric inpatient units and collaborate with pediatric nephrology in a combined lupus clinic.

The candidate will hold a medical degree and be board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Rheumatology.
