Position Summary:

The Jacobs School of Medicine ( JSMBS ) and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), State University of New York, Division of Infectious Diseases (https://medicine.buffalo.edu/departments/medicine/divisions/infectious-disease.html) , is seeing a full-time Academic Scholar for an

Assistant/Associate/Professor position to serve at our major affiliated teaching hospitals and ambulatory settings.

Overall duties include:

  • Serving as attending physician for inpatient and ambulatory services, consultation, and follow-up of patients

  • Teaching students,

  • Training residents and supervision of fellows.

  • Participation in clinical and/or translational research is encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD,DO, or equivalent degree

  • BE/BC in ID and Internal Medicine

  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York

  • Current and unrestricted DEA Certificate

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
