Position Summary:

The Jacobs School of Medicine (https://medicine.buffalo.edu/) ( JSMBS ) and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), State University of New York, Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is actively recruiting for Assistant/Associate Professor with care responsibilities at both our hospital and academic practice sites.

Successful applicants will be expected to:

• Contribute to the teaching mission of the department, to include instruction for medical students and residents as well as the ability to supervise fellows

• Have outstanding communication skills

• Have the ability to creatively solve problems and interest in developing innovative models of care

Clinical/Translational research interest and experience will be a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD,DO, or equivalent degree

• BC/BE Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care

• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of NY

• Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Capable of ensuring a high level of cooperation and communication among their faculty and staff.
