Google Strategic Partner Development Lead (English, Spanish) in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting within the news, publishers ecosystem or technology industries.

  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.

  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.

  • Experience in sourcing, discussing agreements, and closing strategic partnerships with executive-level relationship management.

  • Knowledge of News, and News business and ecosystem.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • Ability to communicate in Portuguese fluently to engage with stakeholders.

The Spanish Speaking Latin America Sellside team funds our region's information by helping publishers of all sizes and industries develop and implement business generation strategies, leveraging our state of the art product suite which includes Google Ad Manager and AdSense. Our technology powers display, video, text, native advertising and programmatic demand across all types of devices. We develop strategic relationships with influential and innovative media companies, and we provide key support that enables them to provide their valuable services to Spanish speaking communities in the markets in which we operate.

As a Strategic Partner Development Lead, you will manage a portfolio of key News partners in the Andean region, helping them to maximize their advertising business through the use of our business generation products. You’ll create long-lasting relationships, renew existing partnerships, and materialize business opportunities, owning C-level engagements and business discussions. You will work cross-functionally with different Google teams to identify, prioritize, and implement strategies to help your partners.

  • Own the strategic relationship with top News and Info publishers in the Andean Region for advertisements, business generation and work cross-functionally with Google teams on partnership goals and objectives.

  • Conduct contract proposals and execution on side platform products.

  • Manage relationships with key industry players and meet regularly with organization contacts. Monitor developing market trends and serve as a leader for our business, representing Google Sellside business generation in Chile, Perú and Colombia.

  • Develop and execute the partnership strategy for your portfolio, including solution selling and developing comprehensive plans for the partners within their portfolio focused on growth opportunities.

  • Set and achieve business growth goals in the partner portfolio, be the primary point of contact for partners and develop relationships with partners stakeholders.
