Job Overview

Social Media Content Writer

The Social Media Content Writer will be responsible for crafting engaging and impactful social media posts for our global business unit. This role requires a strong proficiency in English and the ability to conceptualize and write content tailored to a B2B audience in the form of social posts and social newsletters. The writer will create compelling content that aligns with our marketing strategies and effectively communicates our brand message across multiple social media handles.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation : Write high-quality, engaging, and on-brand social media posts for four distinct handles, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies and business objectives. May also repurpose other content for social media newsletters.

Conceptual Thinking : Develop content ideas and concepts that resonate with a B2B audience, reflecting industry trends and company goals.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Social Media Operations Coordinator to ensure timely and accurate content delivery and to incorporate feedback.

Brand Consistency: Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all social media channels.

Content Optimization : Adapt and optimize content based on performance metrics and feedback to maximize engagement and effectiveness.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field required.

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in writing for social media, particularly in a B2B context, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn and a familiarity with X.

• Exceptional proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to think conceptually and translate complex ideas into engaging social media content.

• Familiarity with social media trends and best practices.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a B2B global business environment.

• Knowledge of social media management platforms and content creation tools.
