Chevron Corporation IT Systems Analyst in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Chevron’s Business Support Center (BASSC), located in Buenos Aires is accepting applications for the position of IT Systems Analyst. Successful candidates will join the IT Organization which is part of a multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1300 employees that deliver business services and solutions to the corporation across the globe.

This position plays an active role in the software development lifecycle with a primary focus on maintaining vendor software, optimizing evergreen support (through configuration, automation, and integration) and supporting in-house developed applications.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Work with technologies like .Net, Azure, SQL and third-party vendor solutions

  • Deliver results in collaboration with other software engineers and technical teams. Constructively and positively influence own and other teams’ direction, following agile principles

  • Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and deliver results that align with and support Chevron’s strategic objectives

  • Build and support low code solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience developing and supporting solutions using Microsoft tools (.Net, Power Platform)

  • Proficient communication and facilitation skills with solid ability to convey business and technical information to a diverse audience

  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to engage difficulties with persistence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with agile methodologies

  • Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps

  • Familiarity with integration patterns (API, Messaging)

  • Familiarity with (any of these) ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), Procurement systems (GEP), HCM (Workday) is considered a plus
