Medical Assistant in San Ynez

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Assistant who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. This role based in San Ynez involves taking vitals, rooming patients, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth visit for every patient.

Job Description

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (1 hour lunch).

• Payrate: $22 - 25/hr.

• The clinic is located offsite from the Casino and includes an onsite lab.

• The role involves working with an assigned MD, conducting both virtual and in-person visits.

• The patient demographics cover all ages, including pediatrics, and visits are scheduled in 20-minute intervals, seeing up to 24 patients daily.

• The team is very focused on delivering great patient care and outcomes.

• The work environment is team-oriented and family-focused, providing a high level of autonomy and ensuring that all team members feel valued.

• In this role, you will take vital signs of patients, room patients and prepare them for their visit, provide outstanding customer service, and greet and chaperone patients during their visit.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role

• Blood draw experience

• MA diploma

• BLS Certification

• EMR system experience

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Experience in pediatric care

• Blood pressure monitoring

• Experience in internal medicine

• Patient care and education

• Medical record keeping

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
