Oracle Software Engineer - part time for student in BUDAPEST, Hungary
Job Description
We are looking for University student into our OAL team!
The place of work is in Budapest, we do offer working hybrid model (remote x onsite with minimum 3 days in the office), 24hour per week for 1year.
Must be EU visa permission or permanent residency in Hungary because of long term immigration process taken.
Oracle Application Labs (OAL) implements, maintains, upgrades and extends the applications that Oracle needs to run the daily business with rapidly changing business requirements. OAL provides a showcase for implementing and using Oracle's products. OAL influences the direction and strategy for Oracle's products through collaborative and often pioneering involvement in business applications.
Within OAL, the Configure Price Quote (CPQ) team collaborates with Business partners and Product Development teams to provide Sales and Deal Management solutions helping Oracle to be successful in the Cloud domain.
OAL CPQ team designs, develops, and implements Sales and Deal Management systems using Oracle CPQ Cloud and custom applications.
Job duties involve development, implementation, and production support. The pace of work is quick using Agile methodologies. Strong technical skills and good judgment are highly valued. Candidates must be able to work effectively independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. The ability to communicate effectively with both business users and technical team members is crucial.
Required Skills:
· Good programming skills in any Object Oriented programming language and understanding of data structure, optimization and algorithms.
· Strong written and oral communication skills in English is required.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Experience in Java, NodeJS, Knockout, Typescript, OJet or SQL will be of advantage.
· Understanding of software architecture and best practices.
· Translate business needs into viable technical solutions.
· Co-ordination within team and across global development teams.
· Self-motivated with demonstrated investigative skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
· Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent discipline.
