What is the job about?

As Senior Risk Management & Insurance specialist you join a professional and dedicated Group Risk Management and Insurance team and you will be reporting into the Senior Manager, Group Risk Management & Insurance.

You will be managing global master programmes within general and product liability, product recall and motor fleet insurance in Europe and advice the Grundfos organization worldwide in day to day insurance matters within most insurance lines.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Insurance program management with lead insurer and insurance brokers on insurance lines general and product liability and motor fleet in Europe

  • Preparing underwriting information, program structure, tailored made policies and supporting the renewal process including risk presentation, meetings with insurers and brokers

  • Keeping the policies updated to support the ongoing development of the Grundfos business

  • Day to day advice to most of our companies worldwide and group functions within most insurance lines, including insurance clause evaluation in sales and purchase contracts

  • Claims assistance/handling of product liability claims and other insurance claims (claims calculation and documentation, subrogation evaluation, lessons learned etc.)

  • Day to day tasks in relation to the Danish pension scheme

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Insurance education as insurance professional, insurance broker or other relevant education and minimum 5 years of experience working with insurance and international insurance programmes

  • Legal contractual understanding and a strong analytical skillset

  • Experience from claims management and follow the cases through until closed

  • Advanced level of English (writing and speech)

  • Self-motivation with excellent communication skills

  • Cross-functional co-operation skills on all organizational levels and

  • Ability to travel estimated to 20-40 days a year

Workplace

This position will be either located in Grundfos offices in Bjerringbro, Denmark or Budapest, Hungary.
