Morgan Stanley Senior Business Analyst – HR Compensation Operations, Vice President in Budapest, Hungary

Morgan Stanley's Compensation Operations team is the product owner of the vendor application used to run the compensation management system globally. The team is responsible for running compensation events and delivering continuous improvement to stakeholders. Team members are involved in various project work streams focused on future state process enhancements, analytics and change management.

The Vice President role will own a variety of workstreams, partnering closely with multiple teams across HR as well as working with the IT department to oversee development of requirements.

What you'll do in the role:

Become a subject matter expert on the firm's compensation management system and related processes to effectively provide support to users Collaborate with stakeholders and HR IT to define business processes, functional requirements and system rules Synthesize information gathered from stakeholders to both senior management briefing and senior stakeholders Review functional business requirements, and help document in the form of user stories, entering and tracking them in Jira Assist team leads with management and maintenance of backlog of user stories, ensuring requirements are clearly defined so that IT can begin design and development Contribute to test plans and develop user acceptance criteria for feature, user story, and functional delivery Participate in testing new development and bug fixes, identifying any issues or disconnects from original requirements Create of system documentation and training materials Support full compensation life cycle, from monthly accruals to year end decision collection and employee communication processes

What you'll bring to the role:

6 years of experience in a large financial service organization or major consulting organization focused on a business analysis type role Self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision Strong problem solving skills. Ability to identify where focus is needed and bring clarity to business objectives, requirements and priorities Experience in project management Comfortable interacting with various stakeholders of all levels Solution-focused to maximize value delivered to the organization Proficient in MS Excel, comfortable working with large datasets Experience with HR systems, compensation system, and system implementations a plus Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology and Jira a plus
