BlackRock Java Developer, Release Engineering, Associate in Budapest, Hungary

About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our firm's release system. This system is crucial for our firm-wide continuous integration and deployment processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a scalable, high-quality distributed system and collaborating with colleagues from different locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust release system for continuous integration and deployment across the firm.

  • Collaborate with a global team to design and implement scalable and high-quality distributed systems.

  • Ensure system reliability and efficiency through effective unit and integration testing.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in CI/CD workflows and cloud technologies.

Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of Java with 3+ years of experience.

  • Proficiency in Spring and Maven.

  • Strong understanding of Linux environments and scripting languages.

  • Experience with CI/CD workflows and cloud technologies.

  • Familiarity with Angular and Azure DevOps is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Python and Perl languages is desirable.

  • Experience with unit testing and integration testing.

  • Knowledge of telemetry tools is advantageous.

Our hybrid work model
