Citigroup IT Project QA Senior Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

The Process Quality Assurance (PQA) Team sits within the Technology division as part of the Organization Project Management Office.

The IT Project QA Senior Analyst is responsible for reviewing the Technology Book of Work for completion of required documents and their timelines.

Documents are scoped and reviewed as they are completed in the Project Tracking System. Continuous improvement of the PQA framework and knowledge sharing with the Project Management Community are key areas of focus.

The IT Project QA Senior Analyst will apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow and integrate subject matter and industry expertise whilst applying in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

What you will do:

  • Identifying key quality and control risks in work efforts that impact application reliability, stability and availability through efficient, effective and accurate control and quality focused inspections.

  • Providing technology managers with ongoing monitoring of the compliance and quality status of their key projects and programs.

  • Collaborating technology teams with quantitative measures as well as qualitative observations and recommendations on major themes and trends related to process adherence.

  • Supporting the annual SDLC standards authoring cycle, ensuring clear communication of changes to standards and tool set is delivered to clients.

  • Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the team’s toolset, including Database and dashboard solutions.

  • Liaising with specific technology management organization highlighting areas of risk and solutions to mitigate that risk.

Your profile:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an IT, project management, or leadership role.

  • Solid technical work experience ideally within a QA process background.

  • Experience in managing processes and influencing stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Good attention to detail able to identify issues and suggest improvements.

  • Proven experience of coaching and mentoring of team members.

  • Experience of application of process improvement tools and techniques.

  • Ability to resolve issues with stakeholders across functions and organizational levels.
