Citigroup HR Delivery – Relationship Manager in Budapest, Hungary

Team/Role Overview

The role will have strategic and operating accountability for relationship management between HR Partners, Country HR officers and the backoffice teams for 55 countries in Europe, UK and MEA clusters. The focus is to build effective partnership and provide an excellent employee experience as employees and business engage with HR and backoffice teams. This role reports to the Regional Lead of Relationship Management, in close partnership with the Regional Lead of Inquiry Management, and Processes Leads.

What you’ll do

  • Analyse and provide monthly update on metrics, backoffice status, initiatives, issues to Country HR Officers

  • Provide expert problem management support to difficult or complex issues and ensure root-cause analysis is conducted with any learning applied for future benefit

  • Develop and maintain highly effective relationships with the backoffice teams and HR Partners to ensure full engagement and open lines of communication

  • Ensure effective delivery and execution of processes through collaborating with HR to translate policies into operational processes, identifying key controls, capacity planning, driving improvement and measuring performance

  • Manage process delivery escalations and partners with HR Partners and backoffice teams to deliver resolutions including incident reporting. Ensure all stakeholders are kept regularly informed of progress to closure

What we’ll need from you

  • Bachelor’s/University degree

  • 5+ years of experience in change management and project management

  • Experience of working in a virtual team, with appreciation of cultural diversity across the globe / region

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Ability to challenge the status quo and implement process improvements to continually improve the customer and HR partner experience

  • Ability to work in an environment where compliance with processes and procedures is of priority
