Head of MSLs and CRM Medical Coordinator

THE POSITION

We are looking for a Head of MSLs and Cardio-Renal-Metabolic Medical Coordinato r in Budapest, Hungary:

Who is dedicated to develop, implement and roll out relevant medical programs and scientific information to the clinical and scientific community helping to explore the full potential of Boehringer Ingelheim medications. These efforts follow a global strategy adjusted to local needs and compliance regulations.

The Head of Medical Science Liaisons manages the team of Medical Science Liaisons, leads the development of MSL-strategies and implementation of the corresponding MSL-activities. In addition, as Cardio-Renal-Metabolic Medical Coordinator, closely and cross-functionally interacts with Operational Units and Regional partners to be in line with Regional strategies and activities and in line with global Boehringer medical strategy. These strategies are part of a cross-functional effort to provide scientific guidance and clinically meaningful information, ensuring that the right patients can take advantage of the full benefits of Boehringer products.

  • Build and maintain medical/scientific expertise forthe respective product and therapeutic area.

  • Contribute medical expertise to design and approvalof medical and marketing materials and ensurecompliance with local legal regulations and internalStandard Operating Procedures.

  • Plan, execute and monitor the effectiveness of localmedical activities.

  • Identifies, interacts and engage with EEs, clinicians, scientific societies and other data-driven stakeholders to understand and satisfy BI and customer needs and drives awareness for BI products in the academic and clinical community.

  • Lead medical projects (e.g. national symposia, advisory board meetings).

  • Develop in cross-functional teams (with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and other functions) strategies to bring the benefit of Boehringer medications to our patients across the compound lifecycle and different therapeutic areas.

  • Cooperation with Marketing and other BI functions to co-create and execute Integrated Brand Plan (IBP) and Integrated Customer Plan (ICP) while using all classical and innovative communication channels such as digital channels.

  • Plan, initiate and conduct generation and collection of Real World Data generated through Medical Affairs programs such as non-interventional studies, non-trial activities, IIS or compassionate use programs.

  • Interact with other stakeholders such as scientific societies, regulatory authorities, patient organizations.

REQUIRED DEGREE / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Preferably MD University degree, or qualified to degree level, preferably in medicine, pharmacy or biological sciences, with sound pharma experience in medical affairs and knowledge of drug development, pharmacovigilance, scientific and/or regulatory affairs.
