About the Function

Diageo is embarking on an exciting and significant business transformation programme - Project Voyager - which will equip our business with best-in-class processes, systems & data (SAP S4) to drive our ambition to create the best performing, most trusted and respected consumer products company in the world.

Project Voyager will fuel long term growth for Diageo through streamlined and simplified end to end business processes, enhanced decision-making capabilities as a result of cleaner, near-real-time data, all underpinned by the implementation of world class technology solutions. The programme will be delivered over a multi-year period with global geographic reach.

About the Role

Top Accountabilities

  • Change impact & integration: Manage the impact of the Voyager (S4 HANA) business transformation program for Diageo Group FP&A by integrating requirements and ensuring delivery of necessary changes. Liaise with programme and Finance network stakeholders to streamline transformation activities and align priorities.

  • Develop a consolidated view of global FP&A change impacts based on input from Change Impact Leads.

  • Lead and coordinate business process and system transformation activities for Group FP&A, supporting the global FP&A transformation.

  • Communications: Coordinate & tailor global communications materials for based on Global FP&A needs. Re-enforce messaging during workshops and training sessions to support adoption and embedment of key process changes.

  • Documentation: Collaborate with Process Governance to update global process documentations.

  • Training: Perform Training Need Analysis (TNA) and localize global training materials as relevant. Coordinate training activities, support the delivery of briefing sessions to end users. Plan and execute training sessions, ensure all the impacted users have a clear understanding of the new process.

  • Testing & validation: Coordinate and support the SMEs in data validations and test planning. · Own the Global FP&A reporting suite (Group BPM tool) and drive continuous improvement in synchronization with Voyager transition.

About You

  • Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business.

  • 8+ years’ experience in Finance, including experience in FP&A / Performance management, including experience in process- / project management

  • Fluency in English

  • Very strong understanding of financial processes and systems.

  • Stakeholder management skills and a proven track record of managing multiple senior stakeholders. Ability to influence- and form relationships with teams across business divisions and markets.

  • Program planning & organising skills, coupled with the capability to accomplish tasks within stringent timelines and deadlines.

  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to effectively target and tailor messages and medium to various audience groups to achieve intended outcomes.

  • Deliver to a high service level to ensure that the systems are working as intended.

  • Understanding of BPM tools and processes, ability to identify improvement opportunities by using these.
