Citigroup Finance Reporting Lead Analyst – Tier 1 Governance in Budapest, Hungary

Finance Reporting Lead Analyst – Tier 1 Governance

This role will support Citi’s compliance with the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and Capital Requirements Directive (CRD), with a focus on the governance structures necessary to ensure ongoing compliance. The team's main responsibility is to ensure that robust governance and control frameworks are established and maintained for these regulations.

What you’ll do:

  • Produce metrics to senior management highlighting key issues and remediation status and maintain and enhance related operational and analytical procedures.

  • Take part in the development of process efficiencies and improvement efforts as well as data quality improvement projects.

  • Develop policies, guidelines, and processes to address the requirements of CRR, CRD and related technical standards, in particular, as the legislation develops into CRR3 and CRD6.

  • Collate the Key Risk Indicators and updates for governance meetings chaired by the Regulation Lead.

  • Help to develop training on CRR and CRD with appropriate SMEs.

  • Review controls to assess accuracy and completeness of associated regulatory control mappings.

  • Escalate issues and work with other SMEs on remediation.

  • Coordinate responses to the outcomes of compliance reviews by Compliance, Internal Audit and external reviewers.

  • Act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

What we’ll need from you:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • BA degree in related field.

  • Financial Services Industry and Project Management experience preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards.

  • Proven problem-solving skills.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills In English.
