Citigroup Change Management & Implementation Lead Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

Team/Role Overview

The Financial Books and Records (FB&R) team within the Controllers Transformation team is responsible for designing and implementing global ledger infrastructure, processes, and governance to ensure accurate, consistent, and the timely close of Citi’s Financial Books & Records.

This role is within the Business Readiness team where the centre of work is the end user of the Strategic Ledger Program.

The Change Management & Implementation Lead Analyst is expected to provide support in defining, managing, and delivering targeted change management interventions to support end-users in adopting new ways of working for Go-Live of Release 1 and beyond.

What you’ll do

  • Partner closely with the Finance BAU teams to ensure readiness for Release 1 go live

  • Support Finance teams exploring key business processes, task ownership and controls for future release discovery

  • Become a system subject matter expert to ensure upskilling is right placed in the Controller’s organization and resistance is decreased over the implementation of Oracle

  • Support Finance end users in translating business activities to project deliverables – identifying required changes to implement and training requirements

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of change implementation solutions through assessments, feedback surveys and other methods – drive the necessary improvements whether it be communication, training, or the actual system change management

  • Assist the Strategic Ledger Implementation Lead in EUC and operating model related activities

What we’ll need from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Engineering or related field desired

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience with global corporations and financial services experience gained in Banking or in an associated consulting role

  • Experience in successfully managing complex projects and programs through the full project lifecycle, from conception through rollout and ongoing support

  • Strong Program Lifecycle awareness and understanding of inputs critical for Implementation; particular focus on training, testing and post go live support

  • Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels within the organization including senior management, including a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for reporting and PowerPoint for presentation development
