Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Accountant III within the Global Process Owner (GPO) function. In this role, you will play a key role in conducting and driving end-to-end optimal process design efforts across the Record to Report (R2R) workstream.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Accounting teams, Group/Division controllers, and other key customers within the Finance organization to ensure effective and efficient process operations.

  • Identify, lead, and leverage process improvements to drive continuous enhancement and increase overall process efficiency.

  • Serve as a key enabler to our R2R efficiency targets by implementing standard methodologies and process optimization strategies.

  • Partner with a range of collaborators, including GBS Teams, IT, PPI, and Automation, to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

  • Analyze and evaluate existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions to optimize the end-to-end process.

  • Establish and maintain an appropriate accounting control environment within GBS Operational Teams.

  • Collaborate with the Operations teams to ensure resources are properly trained on processes, policies, and systems.

  • Continuously review Key Performance Indicators to ensure they align with business objectives and accurately measure process performance.

  • Follow up with different areas to ensure data accuracy and completeness for critical metrics reporting purposes.

  • Be responsible for Process Design and communicate with process users to:

  • Support the stabilization of processes post-launch.

  • Be a point of contact for questions as well as follow up, review, and approve changes when they are required.

  • Identify gaps and issues that prevent efficient and effective methodology in the process execution to support business requirements.

  • Review key indicators with management functions monthly.

  • Identify the root cause of process deficiencies and supervise activities committed to service remediation.

  • Work on identifying process improvements.

  • Remedy deficiencies or improve the efficiency of the business process.

  • Highly Collaborative role: ensures that appropriate inputs and resources are brought to bear. This will ensure that company needs are met and are consistent with the principles of efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Fluent spoken and written English skills.

  • Experience with different ERPs (SAP, JDE, Oracle) and Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end R2R processes and standard methodologies.

  • 5 to 7 years of validated experience in driving improvements as well as leading process optimization initiatives.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to optimally connect with customers at all levels.

  • Knowledge of GBS Shared Services Operations, IT systems, and automation tools is preferred.
