We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support and manage the Otis South-East Europe Area of Romania and Bulgaria, who will be responsible for the development and implementation of the overall supply chain processes in agreement with the Dir, Supply Chain Mgmt, who is based in Italy and to whom he/she will directly report.
At a time of great transformation for Otis, this is an opportunity to be part in our company, optimising cost savings related to external spend direct and indirect and working in an international dynamic context. The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for supply chain in Romania and Bulgaria and he/she will work with internal customers, understanding the needs and identifying suppliers for goods and services, provided at the best conditions in terms of quality, service and cost. He/She will also manage efficiently the local parts warehouse.
The position allows to play into the dynamics of supply chain department in his or her area and to find agreements within a group that operates nationally and internationally, making an essential contribution in negotiations and cost savings. The Supply Chain Specialist encourages new ideas and seeks to create solutions for competitive advantage, he/she supports development and inclusion, and he/she is used to short business travels within the national and international territory of his/her area of responsibility.
On a typical day he/she will:
Identifies and selects potential suppliers and manages the existing ones
Identifies and works on annual projects to achieve the yearly saving plan
Prepares, dispatches and tracks supply orders status, to get parts/service on scheduled time
Prepares of incoming documents for the management of parts, issue of consumption receipts, transfer to warehouses and goods dispatch notices.
Manages supplies’ contracts in alignment with company policies.
Deploys international agreements, coming from EMEA Supply Chain categories leads
What he/she must have to be successful:
At least three years of experience in supply chain or a similar role
Passion and attitude for all processes and changes in the supply chain world
Strong interpersonal and empathetic skills, creative and inclusive attitude, with emphasis on customer experience.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with an entrepreneurial personality.
Strong ability to work in an international and constantly changing environment
Fluent English necessary, other languages are considered a more
