As a member of the Customer Success Services (CSS) organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves managing and supporting customer environments either on-premises or in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and provide expert assistance to ensure the optimal performance, availability, and security of customer environments. Your responsibilities include resolving technical issues, performing system monitoring, and collaborating with internal teams to implement best practices. You will also engage with customers to understand their needs, provide training, and deliver exceptional customer service. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction. As a primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

Responsibilities

This position requires experience and proficiency with the following FMW (Fusion Middleware) skills and technologies:

• Minimum 6 Years’ experience as Oracle Weblogic Administrator

• High-availability design, configuration, and maintenance, including clustering and load balancing for WebLogic (Vertical or Horizontal), security and monitoring

• Solid understanding of Platform as a service (PaaS) preferably Oracle SOA Cloud Service, Java Cloud Service, and various Marketplace offerings in Oracle

• Fusion Middleware 11g and 12c: WebCenter Suite including Content and Imaging, SOA Suite, OIC, MFT, OSB, Weblogic, BPM Suite, WebCenter Sites- Coordinate, fix, integrate, manage via CLI and Fusion Middleware Control, plan/complete patching and major upgrades.

• Triage and resolve critical outage and availability incidents for the FMW products.

• Working knowledge of the Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) service model of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or any similar cloud providers. knowledge of key concepts like Compute, Storage, networking, Security & Identity, and databases.

• Identity Management (IDM) Suite and Access Management (IAM) Suite: Configure IDM components to protect applications and other FMW products, fix authentication issues, and manage LDAP directories.

• Performing application server hardening to protect against malicious attacks.

• Automation of various IaaS and PaaS offerings using REST APIs and Inbuilt CLIs for Cloud Infrastructure.

• Technical proficiency in Oracle Middleware components and Linux.

• Should be able to fix independently any issues in WebLogic installation, configuration, and production instance.

• Good Administration knowledge of IDCS (Oracle Identity Cloud Service)

• Experience in administration of Fusion MW Components like OTD, OID, LBAAS etc

• Experience in performance tuning and well versed with performance related issues like slowness, out of memory, server unavailable etc

• Evaluate, respond to, and resolve service issues with application middleware, database, etc. and recommends/apply solutions such as configuration changes to O/S, WebLogic, PeopleSoft, Tuxedo or additional hardware, memory, CPUs, etc.;

• Good to have OEM monitoring tool knowledge

• Good Oracle Database administration knowledge

• Linux operation system knowledge and Linux Scripting knowledge

• Basic Networking knowledge and experience in using Load Balance tools.

• First response for alerts, Monitoring alerts, Service Requests, Sev.1 Incidents.

• Ensure monitoring is robust and effective.

• Basic knowledge of Cloud (OCI, AWS or AZURE)

• Knowledge of Docker Containers and Orchestration

• Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have:

• Knowing the integration of FMW/BI stack with Siebel and or EBS is added advantage

• Knowledge on PeopleSoft applications, including web servers, database servers, application servers and process scheduler

• knowledge on Scripting, WLST, Python and Shell and well versed with UNIX operating system

• Knowledge on SQL / PLSQL Stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers, Functions, Complex Queries using joins from multiple tables

• Troubleshooting performance tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM, OEM SQL AnalyzerBackup Recovery Using different tools
