Oracle Quote&Contract Specialist in BUCHAREST, Romania

Job Description

The Quote & Contract Specialist is responsible for supporting sales by creating and generating complex quotes to position the appropriate product mix and pricing strategy, and entry-to-medium complexity contracting process for Oracle Health. The position involves working in a multi-cultural environment and covering multiple countries and/or lines of business. The work is fast-paced and seasonal in nature, corresponding with Oracle’s quarterly and annual fiscal cycles.

The Quote & Contract Specialist is a partner for the Sales team, offering support mainly for pre, but also for post-sales activities to secure the successful outcome of the negotiation process.

The Quote & Contract Specialist creates and validates product and services quotes and contractual documentation using Oracle's standard tools and document templates, in response to requests received from Sales. Given the business complexity, the quotes may include a variety of Oracle Health products and Services, and the contracts may require non-standard terms, subject to further analysis related to approvals and clauses creation. For those purposes, the Quoting & Contract Specialist follows defined engagement guidelines to liaise with other Deal Management teams, Finance, Legal and other groups across Oracle to ensure compliance and mitigate corporate risk. Duties and tasks are standard with some variation, in accordance with the role’s specifics.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements include:

  • Managing multiple projects through multiple stages to successful completion, meeting all deadlines, executing project-related tasks and deliverables.

  • Communicating with internal clients to represent the quoting process.

  • Resolving problems efficiently while considering multiple perspectives, groups, and inputs.

  • Analyzing data, thinking critically, quantitatively, and qualitatively.

  • Participating in coordination of workload management, balancing of tasks, and sharing knowledge.

  • Building, maintaining, and contributing to a network of internal relationships.

  • Performing other responsibilities as needed.

  • completing own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.

  • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Sound planning & organizing, detail oriented, time management skills.

  • Good command of MS Office.

  • Flexibility to change priorities and adjust to daily business requirements.

  • Ability to work effectively under time critical deadlines and pressure.

  • Demonstrating resilience in times of change and uncertainty.

  • Strong personal drive and self-motivator.

  • Excellent customer service skills and proactive attitude.

  • Experience in handling standard contractual documents is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Oracle tools, policies and procedures is preferred.

  • Must be fluent in English and any of the following French/Spanish/Portuguese/Italian/German.

  • Ability to evaluate alternative courses of action, together with problem solving and decision making skills.
