We are seeking a detail-oriented and expert Accountant with a proficiency in SAP to join our finance team. The candidate will be responsible for handling records, preparing financial documents, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing accurate information to support processes.

What are my responsibilities?

• The person is responsible for consolidation, analysis, control, reporting (monthly, semi-annual, and annual), and efficient management of financial matters related to the department and the business segment or ongoing assigned projects.

• Prepares and verifies monthly balances according to local accounting standards. Provides support in creating corresponding accounts RAS vs IFRS.

• Direct collaboration and support for the Global Business Services teams in the Czech Republic, ensuring the accuracy of records in accordance with local and Siemens AG Group accounting.

• Prepares revenue and expense budgets for Central Departments and constantly monitors adherence to the established budget. Verifies records and documentation for created provisions.

• Analyzes from a commercial perspective the contracts managed by the Central Departments and ensures their compliance.

• Prepares reports for the organization’s management or the “CF” department. Analyzes and evaluates assets and liabilities. Verifies and contributes to relevant analyses for the annual financial report.

• Analyzes records within orders and projects in accordance with local accounting. Prepares the orders and projects report for the financial audit.

• Provides quality services/assistance to divisions and internal clients in an efficient manner. Keeps up with changes in internal guidelines and external accounting standards and trains the internal client accordingly.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Min. 5 years’ experience in accounting/controlling with a big corporation.

• Strong knowledge in accounting field (it’s a must)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance (it’s a must)

• Strong knowledge with SAP (it’s a must), min.5 years of experience

• Proven understanding of RAS, IFRS.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet the deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in English.
