Join our central department for Environmental Protection, Health Management, and Occupational Safety (EHS) at Siemens Mobility GmbH as an EHS Manager (f/m/d) with focus on occupational safety. In this role, you will oversee global occupational safety management, collaborating closely with our global EHS community to achieve strategic objectives and drive continuous improvement.

This includes the role of Regional EHS Officer (f/m/d) for North East Europe (NEE), in which you will directly report to the CEO of the NEE region and lead the NEE EHS community.

What do you contribute?

  • Strategic Safety Leadership: You will work in tandem with Regional and Business Unit EHS Heads to define and implement the global SMO EHS strategy.

  • Project Management: Also, you will utilize your networking and project management skills to design and execute health & safety initiatives across our business units and regions (in close alignment with our EHS and sustainability programs).

  • Innovation and Coaching: In addition, you will be responsible for an advanced occupational safety within our global operations by introducing innovative solutions to current and future challenges. You will also mentor local colleagues to ensure effective knowledge transfer.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: You will analyze monthly safety reports and provide feedback to the respective organizations. In doing so, you will support the analysis of unintended events (such as incidents) to ensure lessons learned are shared with relevant stakeholders.

  • Consistency and Compliance: You will drive consistency in EHS approaches across our business units and regions, including setting targets, developing programs and methods as well as conducing workshops.

What do you bring along?

  • You bring in a master’s degree in mechanical or safety engineering, or a related field.

  • In addition, you do have a proven track of record and long-term experience as a global EHS Manager (f/m/d) within a complex matrix organization.

  • Additionally, you have proven experience in designing and implementing occupational safety programs.

  • You are familiar with Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles and Learning Teams / Operational Learnings is a plus.

  • Furthermore, you do have in-depth knowledge of relevant standards and management systems (especially ISO 14001/45001), for example through an EHS auditor qualification as well as of regulatory requirements in the Sustainability and EHS area, e.g. CSRD.

  • Also, you excel in communication and presentation, with the ability to build strong partnerships and influence stakeholders.

  • You encourage others to address problems and opportunities encouraging cultural change within the workplace.

  • Business fluent in written and spoken English is essential. German and other languages are desirable. Additionally, you are willing to travel worldwide.
