What You'll Do: We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Communications Specialist who will lead regional strategic communications plan deployment and serve as a communications & public relations counsel to regional leadership. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is looking to make an immediate and positive impact. The role is based in Bryn Mawr, PA and reports directly into Essential's Manager, External Communications. Assist with content creation and management while providing administrative support to the team. This position is an excellent opportunity to grow your communications knowledge in the utility industry!

Essential Duties: * Oversee the preparation of news releases, ensuring messaging discipline. * Support day-to-day regional media relations plan that includes issues management and risk assessment. * Identify opportunities to enhance reputation and perception, and develop compelling, supporting content. * Draft messages, presentations, regional executive communications, internal communications, and other media materials, as necessary, * Contribute to internal communication plans and messaging in support of brand vision, key strategic initiatives, and business priorities. * Work collaboratively across a variety of functions, including operations and corporate communications. * Manage various outside consultants and agencies that support the organization as needed.

What You'll Bring: * Superior writing skills with a finely tuned business intelligence approach that instills confidence as a trusted communications counsel to our leadership and customers. * Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or marketing. * A minimum of 10 years of relevant full-time experience with public relations and communications programs, writing, editing, and publications project management in a corporate setting.
