Salary: $22,894 to $25,016 Annually Salary is based on education and experience

Job Description: This position is working in our Crisis Assessment Center, which provides an alternative environment for individuals in crisis as a diversion from emergency departments, jails, and hospital settings. The position contributes to a peer support capacity to facilitate recovery and enhance wellness, using principles of trauma informed care. Serves as a role model for recovery, for staff and consumers. Support people using services to develop self-help skills. Provides practical support for people using services to develop self-help skills. Provides practical support for people using services to access and utilize community support networks, such as transportation support, accompaniment, etc. Educates people about the range of available services in and beyond the agency. Education: Requires High School Diploma or High School equivalency certificate issued in accordance with the law of the issuing state. Experience: Received a minimum of one year of mental health services. Hours of Work: Generally, MondayFriday 8am-5pm; adjustments in work hours warranted to meet the needs of the program. Licenses/Certifications: Valid Texas drivers license and must be insurable by Agency insurance. Physical Requirements: Light lifting under 15lbs., moderate carrying 15-44 lbs., simple grasping, walking, sitting, standing, operating a motor vehicle, operating office equipment including a computer, ability to see and hear (with aid), ability to read, write, and count, ability to maintain confidentiality, ability to work closely with others.
